  • WEEK 1: Foundations of lead & follow, Musicality & Rhythm, Basic step (forward back, side to side), Cumbia step
  • WEEK 2: Right hand turn follow, Right hand turn lead (underarm)
  • WEEK 3: Cross Body lead (CBL)
  • WEEK 4: Review, Right Turn variations

BACHATA:

  • Musicality, rhythm, dancing on beat
  • Basic lead & follow techniques
  • Basic step (forward back, side to side, in place)
  • Turns: free turns, right and left hand turn, cuddle turns
  • Open/close hold
  • Reverse cross

  • WEEK 2: The Wrap. Right Turn behind the lead’s back
  • WEEK 3: Cross Body Lead (CBL) with Hammerlock. Outside CBL with double turn for follower
  • WEEK 4: Review, Styling, Practice patterns

  • WEEK 4: Practice patterns and variations with styling and dips
